Hold Options Dialog Box - Pickup Tab

Use the Hold Options > Pickup tab to:

• Exclude branches from being selected as the pickup library when hold requests are created in the PAC - Select the branches under Pickup branches to exclude in PAC when creating requests. See Set Holds options: Pickup library options.
• Exclude the selected branches from being selected as the pickup branch in the staff client - Select Exclude selected branches in staff client.
• At the System level only, specify the hold statuses for which patrons can change the pickup location in the PAC - Open the dialog box at the System level, and select one or more hold statuses in the list under Patrons can change pickup branch in PAC when holds have these statuses. If no statuses are selected, patrons cannot change the hold pickup location from the PAC. See Set hold options: Enable patrons to change the holds pickup branch from the PAC.

Note:
To specify a particular library as a pickup branch for a hold request in the staff client, the staff member needs permission to create hold requests at that branch. However, the available pickup branch options depend on the Exclude branches in staff client settings for the logged-in branch. If there is no permission to create holds for the branch, and the branch is excluded, the list of available pickup libraries in the staff client is blank.
