Check availability, place a hold, or access a resource
You can perform the following tasks:
- Check availability
- Place a hold
- Access a resource
- Change the pickup location of an item
And, depending on your library, you can borrow items by mail.

This feature may not be available at your library. If the resource isn't fulfilled by the date you enter, the system removes the hold request. A confirmation window opens. To check the status of the resource, go to the Holds tab on My Bookshelf. |

If only one edition is available, the system opens the provider webpage. If more than one edition is available, the system opens the editions table. Select the edition that you want. |
Checked Out | Place a hold on the item |
The Resource page opens. A confirmation page opens. |
- From the Search Results page, select Get Issue.
- On the window that opens, find the issue that you want, and select Get Issue.
- Follow the online instructions.
