HTML document:  sms_opt_intl.html

U.S. Libraries

This file is valid for non-U.S. libraries only. U.S. carriers offering SMS alerts require specific language in terms and conditions that is not customizable. If your library is based in the United States and has acquired the SMS Alerts product, this file is ignored by the system.

This file displays the terms and conditions for opting in to SMS Alerts in the WebPAC for libraries based outside of the United States. The file contents are text defined by your library. Valid tokens are:

Token Description
<!--{smsopt}--> (Required) The system replaces this token with the Opt In checkbox. Checking this box indicates a user's intention to opt-in for SMS Alerts.
<!--{smsstatus}--> (Required) The system replaces this token with the user's Opt In status.
<!--{smslibdesc}--> The system replaces this token with the value of the SMS_TERMS_DESC Web option. If that Web option is not defined, the system does not display any text when replacing this token.
<!--{smslibemail}--> The system replaces this token with the value of the SMS_TERMS_EMAIL Web option. If that Web option is not defined, the system does not display any text when replacing this token.
<!--{smslibname}--> The system replaces this token with the value of the SMS_TERMS_LIB Web option. If that Web option is not defined, the system does not display any text when replacing this token.

You can create separate custom files for each combination of language, scope, and patron type by using the following naming convention:

sms_terms_LANG_s#_p#.html

LANG The language code (spi for Spanish, frc for French).
s# The number of the scope (s1, s2, s3).
p# The patron type or P TYPE (p0 or p243).
