Pick Lists
A Pick List describes all of the item records that belong to a mobile collection. Library staff use a Pick List as a reference when they need to pull the items that belong to a mobile collection from your library's shelves. For more information on creating a Pick List, see Printing Pick Lists.
The following are described below:
Report Elements
Pick Lists contain general information about the mobile collection for which they are printed and specific data for all of the item records in the group.
Mobile Collections Group Data
The top portion of the Pick List contains following elements:
- Header
- The report title, Mobile Collections Pick List.
- Date and Time
- Date and time when the Pick List was printed.
- Collection Name
- Name of the mobile collection.
- Start Date
- Start date for the mobile collection.
- To Location
- Next location to which the collection will be transferred. (If the collection's status is Route Complete, the system prints "Route Complete" in this field.)
Item Record Data
The bottom portion of the Pick List contains the following elements for each item record in the collection:
- CALL #
- VOLUME
- COPY #
- BARCODE
- AUTHOR
- TITLE
- MAT TYPE
- Original LOCATION (taken from OLD LOC field)
- Current LOCATION (taken from LOCATION field)
- STATUS
