Printing Patron Fine Information
The Circulation function enables you to print a statement documenting the fines a patron owes.
Patron Fine Printout Elements
All patron fine information printouts have the following data elements:
Patron Name
The PATRN NAME variable-length field from the patron record.
Date
The date on which the fine information printout is printed.
Status
The charge type of the fine assessed.
Title
The TITLE field from the fined item's bibliographic record; or for charges with type Manual, the reason the fine was assessed.
Location
A location code from the Branches table. For manual fines, the charge location is selected by the user when adding the charge to the patron's record. For all other charge types, the charge location is the value from the LOCATION fixed-length field in the item record.
Amount
The amount the patron owes for that item or manual charge.
Total outstanding fines
The total amount the patron owes the library in fines.
