Placing a Hold
MyLibrary! supports title-level holds only; item-level and volume-level holds are not supported.
To place a hold on a title in your search results:
- Swipe left on the arrow icon next to the title on the Results screen and tap Place a Hold, or tap Place a Hold at the bottom of the Title Description screen. (Place a Hold links appear only when you can place a hold on the title.)
- Sign in if necessary. For more information, see Signing In. The Place Hold message displays the current pickup location.
- To select a different pickup location, tap Change Location and select a location from the list. The Place Hold message appears again.
- Tap Place Hold. A message confirms that the hold has been placed.
