Deleting Resources from the Coverage Table

When you delete a resource, all data for the resource and its titles are deleted from the coverage table.

NOTE

Delete a resource in Coverage Edit only if your library no longer owns or licenses the resource. WebBridge resource definitions usually contain match data tests that use the coverage data in the coverage table. These tests determine whether patrons can access WebBridge target resources. Deleting coverage data can affect match tests and patron access to target resources.

To delete titles from a resource, see Deleting Titles from Resources.

  1. Choose Coverage Edit from the Function list.
  2. Choose a resource.
  3. Choose Edit | Delete Resource.

    A warning dialog displays.
  4. To delete the resource from the coverage table, choose OK in the warning dialog.

    The resource and its titles are deleted.
