Creating Related Holdings Records from the Resource Record Display

You can soft link a resource record to a holdings record from the resource record display by following these steps:

1. Choose Catalog ERM from the Function list.
2. Retrieve a resource record.
3. In the Summary tab, choose Related Holdings from the View drop-down list.
   
   The list of holdings records soft linked to the resource record displays.
4. To soft link one holdings record to the resource:
   1. Choose Add Related Holding.
      
      The Add Related Holdings dialog appears.
   2. Retrieve a holdings record.
      
      The record displays in the Add Related Holdings dialog.
   3. Choose Use Holdings Record.
      
      The holdings record is soft linked to the resource record.
5. To soft link all the holdings records in a review file to the resource:
   1. Choose Add List of Related Holdings.
      
      The Add List of Related Holdings dialog appears.
   2. Select a review file and choose Add.
      
      The holdings records in the review file are soft linked to the resource record.
