Adding Events

Events are names that are used to link the bookings made for patrons. An event must be associated with a booking. However, a booking can be created without being associated with an event. Events created for different patrons are distinct, even if they share the same name. You can add an event using any of the following methods:

• While placing a booking for a specific item
• While placing a booking for any available item
• While modifying bookings
• From a patron record
• From Bookings Event Maintenance
