Menu Options for Limit by Language
The system consults the Menu Options for Limit by Language file when users choose to limit a search by language in the WebPAC and when users choose to change the language in which the system displays prompts and messages. A maximum of 500 entries can appear in this file.
Libraries that use Innovative language codes will have two entries in this file for each supported language, one with the MARC language code and a second with the Innovative language code, preceded by the '+' character. For example, if the site is set up for French, there will be one entry for the MARC language code fre and another for the Innovative language code frc. The Innovative language code entry appears in staff functions only and does not display to WebPAC users.
If Innovative language code lines exist in the Menu Options for Limit by Language file, you can edit the Menu offered element, but do not edit the LANGUAGE element.
