Administering Pickup Anywhere Options
For INN-Reach Systems that have acquired the Pickup Anywhere for INN-Reach product, the Central System Administrator assigns every Pickup Anywhere location a unique, numeric key ranging from 1 to 18,000. The Local Server coordinator must assign this location key to user logins to enable locations to participate in Pickup Anywhere circulation. Once a Pickup Anywhere location is associated with a login, that user can access Pickup Anywhere functions in the Function list, and Sierra can communicate with the Pickup Anywhere database on the INN-Reach Central Server.
If your Local Server has acquired the Pickup Anywhere for INN-Reach product, the Administration Application displays the Pickup Anywhere menu. Use this menu to assign a Pickup Anywhere location key to user logins, as follows:
- Single Central Server
- If your Local Server participates in Pickup Anywhere circulation at a single Central Server, enter the unique Pickup Location key in the INN-Reach Pickup Location to associate with login field.
- Multiple Central Servers
- If your Local Server participates in Pickup Anywhere circulation at multiple Central Servers:
- Choose the appropriate Central Server from the INN-Reach Central Machine drop-down list.
- Enter the unique Pickup Location key in the INN-Reach Pickup Location to associate with login field. The Central System Administrator at each Central Server must assign your location a separate key.
Innovative recommends that you create a separate login for use with each INN-Reach Central Server.
