Paper type for labels

This option determines which printing-related menu option(s) appear when you print batch item labels using the P > PRINT batch of item labels option. The printing-related menu option(s), in turn, determine whether the labels are arranged to print on a continuous label form or on multi-label laser printer sheets.

Possible values for this option are:

"CONTINUOUS"

The menu option P > PRINT Continuous Labels appears and labels are arranged to print on a continuous form. You can specify the format of the labels using the Label specifications Database Maintenance option.

"SHEET"

The menu option L > Print Sheet LABELS appears and labels are arranged to print on multi-label laser printer sheets. The system automatically formats the labels when you select this option.

Supported Labels and Printers for Printing Sheet Labels

The system currently supports one type of multi-label laser printer sheet for printing batch item labels, Gaylord's SL6-formatted label stock (product number 9002).

The system supports printing batch item labels to any HP LaserJet printer that is set up as a system printer.

BOTH

Both the P > PRINT Continuous Labels and L > Print Sheet LABELS menu options appear, and labels are arranged as described in the "CONTINUOUS" and "SHEET" entries above, depending on which menu option you select.
