Check-out: Authorization required to set due date to overlap booking

This option determines who, if anyone, is allowed to set item due dates that overlap pre-existing bookings. If you select this option, Sierra displays:

Check-out: Authorization required to set due date to overlap booking 
		Current Setting: DENY ALL

        1 > Allow all to set due date to overlap booking
        2 > Prevent all from setting due date to overlap booking
        3 > Enter the password level required
        4 > Return to Circulation menu

Choose one: (1-4) _

Allow all to set due date to overlap booking

If you choose 1, staff can set a due date that overlaps an existing booking.

Prevent all from setting due date to overlap booking

If you choose 2, staff cannot set due dates that overlap existing bookings.

Enter the password level required

If you choose 3, Sierra prompts:

Enter the numeric authorization level required for a user to be allowed to overlap booking: (1-99) __

Enter a number from 1 to 99 and press <Enter>. Only users who have this permission can set a due date that overlaps an existing booking.

Return to Circulation Menu

If you choose 4, the status of this option does not change and you return to the Circulation Options menu.
