Library subject to use tax

By default, the system is set up for no use tax. To change this, select the Library subject to use tax option. The system prompts:

1 > YES
2 > YES (SPECIFY RATE)
3 > NO

In addition, if your library is subject to use tax and you choose this option, the system can add use tax to coded items on an invoice (to request this option, contact Innovative.). The code must be in one of the four fields in the order record, CODE1 - CODE4. The system does not apply use tax to items coded as non-taxable when the option is selected. Use tax rates are entered by the library using the Use Tax Rate table.
