Restarting the CAS Server

If you change your SAML configuration (for example, change the name of your IdP), you should restart the CAS server so the changes can take effect. You do not need to restart the CAS server while enabling authentication; that step is done automatically by the system during that process.

To restart the CAS server:

  1. In the Sierra Administration application, click SAML Configuration in the Back End Management section.
  2. Select the Management tab.
  3. Click RESTART CAS SERVER. The system displays the following message:

  1. Click OK. Sierra restarts the CAS server and returns you to the Management tab.
