Login statistics

The LOGIN statistics option in Admin Corner allows you to view the login statistics report. This report is based on a series of "snapshots" taken by the system to record how many users were logged in during one specific instant of time each hour of each day for the last ten days. This option also displays the average number of login requests which were denied each hour during the last ten days. The information is displayed in the following format:

The display is organized by login group. In this screen, the name of the login group appears in the left column above three indented lines showing Average, Peak, and Average Denied logins for that group. The maximum number of logins allowed for each group appears in parentheses immediately after the login group name. Only the hours 7:00 A.M. through 7:00 P.M. are separately displayed. All other hours are totaled into the Other Hours column.

The Average line shows the average number of logins over the ten day period which were active at the specific instant each hour when the "snapshot" was taken. Peak is the greatest number of logins over the ten day period which were active at the specific instant each hour when the "snapshot" was taken. Avg. Denied is the average number of denied logins during each hour in the ten day period shown.

This information may also be either printed or graphed. A sample graph appears below:

NOTES
  • Instead of Average, this screen displays the actual logins which were active at the specific instant each hour when the "snapshot" was taken. Peak is not shown, since this report is just for a single day.
  • If your library has unlimited WebPAC logins, use the U > UNLIMITED WebPAC login statistics menu option to track statistics.
  • If your library has Patron API logins, those logins are not counted and the Login Statistics report will not include statistics for them.
