Patron Statistical Report Filters

When setting up a patron statistical report, you can select one of the following filters to apply to the data:

Important: The active filter depends upon the selection in the Available subcategoriess box. For example, if you selected By patron code in the Available subcategories box, the only filter you can select is the Patron code filter. You can select only one filter check box, but you can select multiple entries within the filter list. The active filter check box has a darker border than the inactive filters.

• Library quick pick - If you select a library in the Library quick pick list, all the branches associated with this library are automatically selected in the Patron branch box.
• Patron branch - Select one or more entries in the list to filter the data by the branch where the patron is registered, and select one of the following options:
• Include branch name - Includes the full branch name for the selected branch or branches.
• Include branch abbreviation - Includes the branch abbreviation for the selected branch or branches.
• Include branch ID - Includes the branch ID for the selected branch or branches.
• Combine branch totals - Combines the branch totals for the selected branches.

Note: To limit the report output by patron code or statistical class, you must first select a patron branch or branches. Only the statistical classes and patron codes used at the selected branch or branches appear in the lists.

• Patron code - Select one or more entries in the list to filter the data by patron code, and select one of the following options:
• Include patron code description - The report will include the full text description of the selected patron code or codes.
• Include patron code ID - The report will include the system ID for the selected patron code or codes.
• Combine patron code totals - The report will combine the totals for the selected patron codes.
• Statistical class - Select an entry in the list to filter the report by patron statistical class, and select one of the following options:
• Include statistical class description - The report will include the full description of the selected statistical class or classes.
• Include statistical class ID - The report will include the ID for the selected statistical class or classes.
• Combine statistical class totals - The report will combine totals for the selected statistical classes.
