Leap Parameters Reference

The following Leap parameters are available from the Workstation workform and apply only to the workstation at which they are set. Other System Administration parameters and profiles apply to both the staff client and Leap. The WebApp staff client profiles apply to Leap only.

If a media dispenser unit will be used with Leap without installing the Polaris staff client on the workstation, set the parameter to Yes.

If auto-polling of RFID tags will be used with Leap, set the parameter to Yes.

Web App: Enable device camera scanning Workstation

To allow staff to scan patron and item QR codes with a QR code reader, set the parameter to Yes.

When set to Yes, a QR code icon appears in the following locations in Leap:

  • Main search bar
  • Check In workform
  • Check Out view of the Patron Record workform
  • Item Record Set workform
