Increasing Check-out Limits by Branch
The increased check-out limits feature allows your library to increase the total item limit and material type limits for specific patrons at a branch. The branch enables the feature for individual patrons through the preference settings in the patron record. Once enabled for a patron, the increased limits apply to all check-out transactions regardless of what Polaris application the patron uses for check-out (for example, Leap, the Polaris staff client, ExpressCheck, and Polaris API).
Tip:
Increased check-out limits do not apply to integrated eContent because the vendors control the loan limits for those items.
