Declare an Item Lost or Damaged
You can declare an item lost or damaged from the Out/Overdue view of the patron record if you have the Modify lost/damaged item amount: Allow permission in Polaris Administration (staff client). For more information about this permission, search for "Circulation Permissions" in the Polaris staff client help.
Note:
You can also declare an item damaged when you check it in. For more information, see Check In a Damaged Item.
