You can create links to specific patron account tabs in Vega and add the links to your website to provide quick access to account information for patrons.
If patrons are not logged in to Vega when they select a link, the system displays the Vega Login page. After the patrons log in, the specified tab in My Bookshelf opens. Patrons who are logged in to Vega go directly to the specified tab in My Bookshelf.
If library staff members are logged in to the administration system, and they attempt to use the links, they are prompted to log out of the system. Then they can log in to their patron accounts in Vega Discover.
Link structure
To create a link to specific tabs in My Bookshelf, use the following structures:
Go to a patron’s Checkouts tab in My Bookshelf

Go to a patron’s Holds tab in My Bookshelf
https://<vega_base_url>/?openAccount=holds
Go to a patron’s Fines tab in My Bookshelf

At Ferguson Public Library, the Vega Discover base URL is https://ferg.na.iiivega.com. Therefore, a link to a patron’s Fines tab looks like this:
