NCIP Relais Transit Slip Data Library

The NCIP Relais transit slip data library defines the elements you can use to create custom NCIP Relais transit slip print templates. These transit slips are used for NCIP Relais final checkins when an item is sent back to its owning location.

Custom print templates are created in a third-party application (such as Jaspersoft Studio). See Creating Customized Print Templates for more information.

Element Name	Description	Data Source in Sierra
return_to_location	The branch location that owns the item.	The virtual item record.
checkin_date	The date the borrowing site performed the final checkin.	The Sierra system. The format is specified by your library's settings for the display of dates.
institution	The site code of the patron's site.	The hold field in the patron record.
precid	The patron's record number.	The record number fixed-length field in the patron record.
v_b_title	The item's title.	The virtual item record.
v_b_author	The title's author.	The virtual item record.
v_b_call_num	The title's call number.	The virtual item record.
v_i_barcode	The item's barcode.	The virtual item record.
irecid	The item record number.	The virtual item record.
