Library Load Priority Table
The Library Load Priority Table on the INN-Reach Central Server assigns numerical priority values to each site in an INN-Reach System. INN-Reach checks these priority values when identifying a master bibliographic record in the INN-Reach Catalog.
Specifically, the system uses the priority value to:
- Assign central bibliographic record ownership when an incoming bibliographic record and an existing bibliographic record have equal Encoding Levels.
- Identify which local bibliographic records linked to a master record should be requeued if the ownership of the master bibliographic record must be reassigned (for example, if the owner of the master bibliographic record deletes the local bibliographic record, causing its removal from the INN-Reach Catalog).
The Library Load Priority Table contains an entry for each participating site in the INN-Reach System. Your INN-Reach System assigns numerical priority values to each site, with higher numbers representing higher priority. For example, the INN-Reach Central Server is more likely to assign master ownership to a bibliographic record owned by a site with a "10" priority than one owned by a site with a "5" priority. If your Local Server operates under the INN-Reach Agency Model, the agencies on your Local Server must be assigned the same priority value.
Your INN-Reach System agrees upon these priority values during implementation, and Innovative adds these values to the Library Load Priority table.
To modify values in this table, ask your Central System Administrator to contact Innovative.
