Diagnosing RFID Tag Issues
Mobile Worklists offers two ways to diagnose RFID tag issues. You can:
Sending Diagnostic Data to Developers
While scanning RFID tags, Mobile Worklists displays the following error message if it does not recognize the RFID data:
Barcode was not found!
Should the app send RFID data to developers to analyze?
To send the RFID tag data to Innovative for evaluation:
- Tap Send. The Barcode of RFID Tag screen appears.
- Do one of the following:
- Scan the item barcode.
- Tap the keyboard icon, and manually enter the item barcode.
A confirmation message appears stating that the RFID data was sent.

Tap Done. Mobile Worklists returns you to the screen to scan additional RFID tags.
Viewing Diagnostic Data for an RFID Tag
You can view diagnostic data for an RFID tag to help you troubleshoot issues.
To view diagnostic data:
- From the Home screen, tap RFID Diagnostic. The Ready to Scan screen appears.
- Scan the RFID tag by holding your device close to the item. Mobile Worklists displays the following information:
- Raw data from the tag
- Parsed data from the tag, including
- The parsed string
- Barcode variants
- When you are finished, tap the back button to return to the Home screen.
