Limiting Requests by Item, Location, or Other Fixed-Length Fields

Your library can specify that patrons cannot request items with a particular item type, location, or other fixed-length field value (e.g., reference materials). To activate this option, you must provide Innovative with a list of fixed-length field values that patrons cannot request. Innovative sets up a request rule file to block requests for the specified items.
