Saving Records for Export
To export records in the WebPAC, save the records to the Book Cart (viewsaves_web.html) from the browse, brief citation, or bibliographic record displays.
If at least one record is saved to the Book Cart, the system displays the View Saved button in all system displays.
Saving Records from the Index Browse
To save items from the browse display:
- Check the box in the Mark column next to the appropriate entry, or click the Save All On Page to save all the entries on the page.
Multiple Entries
Checking the Mark checkbox for a heading with multiple entries exports all records listed under that heading to the export list.
- Click the Save Marked Records button.
Saving Records from a Brief Citation Display
In a brief citation display, each item in the browse list displays either a checkbox or a Book Cart icon (based on the value of the ICON_BOOKCART Web option). To save records from a brief citation display:
- If your system displays checkboxes next to record entries in the brief citation display, save records as you would with a browse display.
- If your system displays a Book Cart icon by using the the ICON_BOOKCART Web option, save records by clicking the Book Cart link next to the individual record or click the Save All On Page to save all the entries on the page.
The system replaces the the Book Cart icon with an In Book Cart icon next to each saved record.
You can control the appearance of the In Book Cart link with the ICON_BOOKCART_SAVED Web option.
Clicking the In Book Cart link removes the record from the saved list.
Saving Records from the Bibliographic Record Display
In the bibliographic record display, click the Export or Save Records link to save the record. When the system has saved the record, the WebPAC replaces the Export or Save Records link with a Remove from Book Cart link.
You can remove the record from your list of saved records by clicking the Remove from Book Cart link.
