Deleting the Checkin Card

To delete a checkin card:

1. Choose Serials - Serials Checkin from the Function list.
2. Retrieve the checkin card.
3. Choose the desired editing function from Tools | Box Menu, Tools | Advanced Options, or Tools | Card Menu.
4. Choose Yes when prompted to verify that you want to delete the checkin card.

Sierra deletes the checkin card. If the checkin card has boxes with associated item records, continue with the following two steps.

5. Sierra asks you to confirm the deletion of the item records.

Sierra automatically selects all of the item records for the card you are deleting. If you choose not to delete some or all of the item records, uncheck check boxes in the Delete column.

6. Choose Submit to delete the selected item records and the checkin card or Cancel to exit without deleting the item records or the checkin card.

Note that you cannot use the Undo option to cancel any changes made via the Delete Card function.
