Backdating Check-ins

When checking in issues of a serial, Sierra automatically uses today's date as the check-in date, i.e., the received or transaction date. To change the check-in date:

1. Double-click on the date at the top of the checkin card. The system displays the Check-in Date dialog.
   
2. Choose a date using the calendar.

The system does not allow you to choose a check-in date in the future. The date you choose remains in effect for all subsequent check-ins unless you manually change the date or exit the Serials Checkin function.
