Finding Text within a Record
While editing a record, you can use the Find Within Record feature to search for a specific string of text. This feature searches both the content of the fields and the field names.
To use this feature, do the following:
- In the Sierra record editor, select Edit | Find. Sierra displays the Find dialog box.
- Type your text string in the search box and press Enter. Sierra searches the record and highlights the first match.
- (Optional) Click the down button to navigate through the matches.
- When you have highlighted the match you are looking for, close the Find dialog box by clicking the button in the top-right corner. Sierra places the cursor in the field that was last highlighted.
