Possible Messages (Cancelling ILL Requests)

This section describes some of the messages you might see when you attempt to cancel ILL requests.

Cancellation message successfully queued.
The system has queued the hold cancellation notice for later printing.
Failed to cancel the request with the British Library.
(BLDSS only) ILL was unable to cancel the request with the British Library. This message can occur when you try to cancel a request that has already been ordered. See Acquiring ILL Items via BLDSS for more information.
Request successfully removed from borrower's record.
The request has been deleted from the patron record.
The operation was cancelled.
You chose the Cancel button. ILL exited the dialog without cancelling the request.
The request was successfully cancelled.
ILL has moved the request to the cancelled requests file.
You must select an ILL message before you can continue.
You must compose a message or select an ILL cancellation notice before you select the Finish button.
