Changing the Billed Amount
To change the amount of a bill for a lost item:
- If you are not already looking at the patron's lost items, go to the Mark Lost Items dialog (see Marking Items as Lost).
- Select the item whose bill should change. Choose the Update Bill button or, from the right-mouse menu, choose Update Bill. The Updating Bill dialog displays.
- You can update the amount to be charged for Item Cost, Process Fee, or Billing Fee. The system updates the bill amount for the item when you choose OK; choose Cancel to close the dialog without updating the bill.
Reducing a Bill to Zero
You can reduce the amount owed to zero by entering a zero amount for each element in the bill.
