Changing the Billed Amount

To change the amount of a bill for a lost item:

  1. If you are not already looking at the patron's lost items, go to the Mark Lost Items dialog (see Marking Items as Lost).
  2. Select the item whose bill should change. Choose the Update Bill button or, from the right-mouse menu, choose Update Bill. The Updating Bill dialog displays.
  3. You can update the amount to be charged for Item Cost, Process Fee, or Billing Fee. The system updates the bill amount for the item when you choose OK; choose Cancel to close the dialog without updating the bill.
Reducing a Bill to Zero

You can reduce the amount owed to zero by entering a zero amount for each element in the bill.
