Suppressing Resource Links Temporarily

You can temporarily suppress all the target resource links from an origin by making the origin inactive.

If a single resource is temporarily unavailable, you can suppress links to it by making it inactive.

In the Coverage Edit function you can make titles active or inactive. See Temporarily Suppressing Titles in Resources for more information.

Temporarily Suppressing All Resource Links from an Origin

To suppress all resource links from an origin:

1. Access the WebBridge Management menu by either:
   • entering http://your_library_[domain]/webbridge/edit in the browser address window
   • choosing Admin | WB Edit in an application
   
   
   The WebBridge Management menu displays:
   
   

   NOTE

   Only one user can be logged in to the WebBridge Management menu's edit function. Other users can access the menus in View Only Mode.

   If there is no activity by a login within the timeout period, the user is automatically logged out.

   
   
2. Choose Edit Origin Definitions.
   
   The WebBridge Management - Origins menu displays.
   
   
3. Choose the origin to modify. The WebBridge Management - Origin menu displays:
   
   
4. Clear the Active check box.
   
   Links from this origin remain suppressed until the Active check box is selected.
5. Choose Save.

Temporarily Suppressing a Single Resource

To suppress links to a resource:

1. Access the WebBridge Management menu by either:
