Administering Global Update Settings

The settings menu for Global Update contains the following settings options:

Choose a MARC Type

Specifies the MARCTYPE of bibliographic records that can be updated.

Max Search Results (0 = No Limit)

Specifies the maximum number of records retrieved in a search. The default value is "5000". A value of '0' indicates that no limit is imposed.

Create Review File of Busy Records

Select (check) this check box to create a review file of busy records when performing global updates. The file appears in the Review Files tab of Create Lists.
