Code used for material type

In Sierra 4.0 and later, this option is set to "2" (BCODE2) to support three-digit material type codes. Do not change this setting because other settings are not supported.

This option defines the BCODE fixed-length field used to contain the material type in the bibliographic record. The value of the BCODE fixed-length field is used by the MEDIA Web option.

Valid values are:

1 - Material type is contained in the BCODE1 fixed-length field of the bibliographic record.
2 - Material type is contained in the BCODE2 fixed-length field of the bibliographic record.
