Reserves: Store course reserve history in item and bibliographic records

To have the system add a RESERVE NOTE field to item records when you add a record to a course or change a record's status to active, set this system option to "YES".

To have the system add a RESERVE NOTE field to bibliographic and item records, contact Innovative.

If Innovative enables the feature that adds RESERVE NOTE fields to bibliographic records, the Reserves: Store course reserve history in item and bibliographic records system option cannot be changed by the library, and the value of this system option displays as "CALL INNOVATIVE".

For item records, the RESERVE NOTE contains the date the record was placed on active reserve or taken off reserve, and the course name. When the record is taken off active reserve, the RESERVE NOTE field stores the number of times the record circulated.

For bibliographic records, the RESERVE NOTE contains the number of times that its attached items were circulated.
