Recalls: Start charging fine increment after TIME RETURN RECALL

Use this option to establish the day upon which the overdue fine increment for recalled items with holds starts accruing.

The default setting is "NO." This means that, in most cases, the recall fine increment begins at the end of the TIME RETURN RECALL period. The exception is when the due date falls within the TIME RETURN RECALL period. In that case, the increment starts at the beginning of the first fine period.

Setting this option to "YES" instructs the system to assess the fine increment always after the TIME RETURN RECALL period expires. See Recalling an Item.
