Limit Maximum ILL Requests Per Interval

Set this option to "YES" to restrict the number of ILL requests that can be placed by or for a patron over a specified time interval. When a patron places an ILL request and this option is set to "YES," the system checks the Max ILL (per interval) element of the Patron Blocks table. (By default, the system checks only the Max ILL (at one time) element of the Patron Blocks table when patrons place ILL requests.)

In addition, the system increments the ILL REQUES patron record fixed-length field only when an ILL request is successfully placed for a patron. (By default, the system increments the ILL REQUES field when you acquire an ILL item for a patron.)
