Warn if fund reaches what percent of budget
This option enables you to specify a percentage of the appropriation which the system uses to display spending warnings for funds. When the specified percentage of the appropriation for a fund has been spent or encumbered, the system displays a warning message on all subsequent new orders assigned to that fund. For example, if $5,000 is appropriated to a fund and the percent is set at 90%, then, once $4,500 of the fund has been spent, the system displays the message over 90% spent for every new order assigned to it.
Note
The percentage you enter using this option applies to each fund in the system except those funds where a spending warning has been set at the individual fund level. If you set a spending warning for an individual fund, the system uses that percentage over the one specified for the system-level spending warning. See Setting Spending Warnings for further information about individual- and system-level spending warnings.
