Default Directory Dialog Box
Use the Default Directory dialog box to specify the location for various Polaris logs and files. The types of files vary, depending on where you opened the dialog box:
- Acquisitions/Serials profiles: Default directory - Specifies the location where various Acquisitions and Serials logs and files are saved.
- Cataloging profiles: Default directory - Specifies the location where various Cataloging logs and files are saved.
- Patron Services profiles: Default directory - Specifies the folder for patron services reports.
- Staff Client profiles: Library documentation - staff client - Specifies the path and file or URL of the information to display when Library Documentation is selected from the Help menu on the Polaris shortcut bar. This option is a convenient way to make custom documentation available in the staff client. Type the path/filename, or click Browse to browse to the location; if you specify a URL, begin with http://.
- Staff Client profiles: Report Output Directory - For the workstation, specifies the location of Polaris reports and notices when they are generated. Type the directory path, or click Browse to browse to the location.
