Enable Remote Automatic Authority Control

To enable remote automatic authority control:

  1. In the Administration Explorer tree view, expand the organization’s folder.
  2. Select Profiles and select the Cataloging tab.
  3. Double-click Remote automatic authority control. 

The Remote Automatic Authority Control Defaults dialog box appears.

  1. Select Enable remote automatic authority control.
  2. Select the server in the Server box.
  3. Select the database in the Database box.
  4. Type the amount of time in seconds before the search for a matching authority record times out in the Search timeout (seconds) box.
  5. Click OK to save the remote automatic authority control defaults.
