Staff and Workstation Reports
The following reports identify the staff members and workstations registered in Polaris.
- Affiliated Branches of Staff Members - Lists the staff members associated with each branch, organized by system, library, and branch. You can filter this report by organization.
- Hierarchy of Libraries, Branches & Workstations - Lists the workstations assigned to each branch in the system, organized by system, library, and branch, including the computer names and workstation display names. You can filter this report by organization.

Staff Member Permissions - This report lists a staff member’s permissions. Any permissions granted at the system level only or at the library level only (the selected branch’s parent library) are also included on the report. The report layout is landscape; it is sorted primarily by the control record name and secondarily by the permission name; and it includes the following columns from left to right: Control Record, Permission, Subsystem, Organization, Organization Type.
To access this report, select a single staff member in the Staff Member box; single, multiple, or all branches in the Organizations box; and single, multiple or all subsystems in the Subsystems box.

Staff Member Permissions Comparison - This report is used to compare two staff members’ permissions by listing the permissions the staff members do not share. Permissions that the staff members have in common do not print on the report. The report layout is landscape; it is sorted primarily by the control record name and secondarily by the permission name; and it is divided into two sections headed by each staff member’s user name and user ID. Under each of the two staff member name headings, the report includes the following columns from left to right: Control Record, Permission, Subsystem, Organization, Organization Type.
To access this report, in the Report Wizard, select a single staff member in the Staff Member 1 box; a single staff member in the Staff Member 2 box; single, multiple, or all branches in the Organizations box; and single, multiple or all subsystems in the Subsystems box.
