Setting Patron Services Parameters and Profiles

Patron Services parameters and profiles control both patron services and circulation functions. The sets of available parameters and profiles are different for each administration level (system, library, and branch). Separate sets of parameters control requests, notification, self-check operations, and credit card transaction processing.

You can view and set the Patron Services parameters and profiles from the Administration Explorer or an administration workform.

These System Administration permissions are required to modify parameters and profiles: Access Administration: Allow; Libraries: Access; Branches: Access; Modify parameters: Allow; Modify profiles: Allow.
