Setting Outreach Items Options
These settings control what items are candidates for selection list processing for outreach services patrons and the information that appears in the pick lists that are built from selection lists.
- Excluded circulation statuses - You can exclude items with specific statuses from selection list processing. For example, if you exclude items with a status of Bindery, no item with this status ever appears in a selection list as a “candidate” for the outreach patron’s pick list. - Branch items to include - You can opt to include other branches’ items in selection list processing, and specify which branches to include. Or you can opt to restrict the candidate items to those belonging to the user’s workstation branch. See Set branch items to include in outreach selection lists.
- Pick List column heads - You can tailor the Outreach Services Pick List view to include the item data most useful for your organization’s workflow. See Set pick list column heads.
- Prompt to update next service date at normal check-out - You can display a prompt during normal check-out to update an active Outreach Services patron’s next service date if an item not on the patron’s pick list is checked out to the patron.
