Designating Floating Collections

Polaris collection records name collections, track which branches use the collections, and designate what collections are potentially eligible to float from which branches. See also: Designate collections as eligible to float.

Consider setting up these collections so that all branches that participate in the floating arrangement use the collections; otherwise, you will need to set parameters to deal with the case where an item floats to a receiving branch that does not share the item’s collection (see Set parameters and profiles for floating collections).
