The Mobile App Manager

Use the Mobile App Manager to create the core configurations for all mobile applications in the CMS. Mobile applications include mobile apps, e-kiosks, and surface tables.

Content can become visible in two ways:

  • The button is an essential component of the CMS. Buttons are the only way to expose and view either a single content item such as a webpage or a channel containing a data set such as a collection of content images or a collection of branch details.
  • Buttons always need to be placed in an interactive zone of an e-kiosk or surface table and cannot be situated in the media zone of these devices.

  • Scheduled content is exposed for viewing when its turn has come to be displayed within the scheduled rotation of a device.

The Mobile App Explorer contains an explorer tree made up of folders or tabs that contain the configuration for a button. Every tab has a button.

The Mobile App Explorer has the following characteristics:

  • It contains the Home folder at the top of the hierarchy.
  • It contains folders or tabs for each button under the Home folder.
  • Every tab has a button.
  • You can drag and drop tabs in any order.
  • The explorer can contain subtabs.
