Review and Configure Record Import Options
Record import profiles are configured in the staff client and cannot be modified in Leap. However, you can review the profile settings that apply to your Leap record import before you start the import process.
You can also edit a limited number of record import options in Leap.
Note:
If you edit import options in Leap, your changes apply only to the current record import.
To review and configure record import options
-
On the MARC Import Setup workform, select Bibliographic Records.
The Bibliographic Records view appears, displaying the import profile options that apply to bibliographic records in the current import.
-
(Optional) If you do not want the imported bibliographic records to display in the PAC, clear the Display in PAC checkbox. Display in PAC is selected by default.

Note:
Before saving imported records, Leap processes and validates them according to the settings defined in the import profile. Only records that are saved to the database receive the Do not overlay flag.
