Perform the Record Import

To import MARC and MARCXML records

• On the MARC Import Setup workform, select IMPORT.

  Leap attempts to add your import to the Import Jobs Queue and displays either a success message or an error message.

During the record import, Leap performs the same processing and validation that occurs when you import records in the staff client. For more information, see Automatic Processes During Record Import.

Your files may be in a pending state for a few minutes before import processing begins. To view and manage pending, in progress, and completed record imports, see View and Manage Record Imports.
