Delete or Undelete Record Sets

If your system administrator has enabled this feature and you have the required permissions, you can delete or undelete Patron, Item, Authority, and Bibliographic record sets in Leap.

Deleting a Record Set

To delete a record set

  1. Open the record set workform.
  2. Select ACTIONS > Delete.
  3. Bibliographic Record Set workform, Delete option.

    A confirmation message appears.

  4. Select CONTINUE to delete the record set.
  5. The record set is deleted, the workform no longer appears, and a Record set deleted (9002) transaction is logged.

Undeleting a Record Set

To undelete a record set

  1. Search for the deleted record set. Deleted records sets can only be found by searching for either a record set status of Deleted or by searching for the Record set ID.

  2. Open the deleted record set's workform.
  3. Select ACTIONS > Undelete.

    Bibliographic Record Set workform, Undelete option.

    The record set's status is changed to Final, and the record set is restored.
