Delete a Hold Request

If a hold request has a status that allows it to be canceled, it can also be deleted. For a list of all hold statuses that can be canceled, see Cancel Hold Requests. The Delete option is available.

To delete a hold request

  1. Do one of the following actions:
    • From the Patron Record > Holds view, select a hold request, and select Delete.
    • From the Request Manager > Holds view, select a hold request, and select Delete.
    • From the Hold Request workform, select ACTIONS > Delete .

The Delete hold request message box appears.

  1. Select CONTINUE to delete the hold request.
