Edit a user account

If you are assigned the Super Admin or Admin role, you can edit a user’s name and role.

You can only edit user accounts that are assigned a lower role than yours.

You also can’t edit your own account while you are signed in to it.

Note: Any edits made to a user in the LX Admin or Discover user table are automatically synchronized between the two systems.

To edit a user account

  1. Select the down arrow next to your name in the upper-right section of the page.
  2. Select Library Settings.
  3. Select the Users tab.
  4. In the Actions column, select Options Actions icon. for the account you want to edit.
  5. Select Edit.
  6. Make the changes.
  7. Select Edit User.
